By Happy Hotwife. Everything here is my opinion and my body. Yes, this is a little bit of Small Penis Humiliation. On purpose. If that is not your thing, close this one with no hard feelings and go read the average size answer on any medical site.
The short version: The biggest study ever done pooled 15,521 men, every one measured by a clinician, not by himself. Average is 5.17 inches long and 4.59 around. If you are near that, you are exactly average, which is the polite word. 85 percent of women say they are satisfied with their partner's size. Two out of three women say they have faked an orgasm at least once. Those are not the same question. One is "are you fine with it." The other is "do you come." Every article stops on the first one. I am asking the second. I am a Size Queen. My minimum is 7.5 with real girth. My husband is bigger than average and still the smallest I will ever go again. None of that is your report card. It is my body and my opinion. But if you actually care whether she comes, and not just whether she says she did, keep reading. There is a door at the end a lot of men are too proud to open.
If you typed "is my penis small" into a search bar at one in the morning, hi. You are not the first tonight. You will not be the last.
Fair warning before you scroll. I am a Size Queen. I have been a Hotwife, out loud and on purpose, since 2016. My husband and I have been together since 1994, and Small Penis Humiliation is a flavor of this life we love to dabble in. I tease him about it at home. I tease my fans about it online. I put it in my songs.
So this is not the nurse version. WebMD is right there if you want to be told you are normal and sent to bed. This is the version from a woman who has actually compared, and who is going to be honest with you in a way I suspect nobody has been. Some of it will sting a little. Some of it, if you are wired a certain way, will do something else entirely. Both are fine. Everything here is my opinion and my body. Your wife's number is hers, and I will tell you how to get it out of her at the end.
Now. Let's look at you.
What is the average penis size?
Average erect length is 5.17 inches and average erect girth is 4.59 inches around, across 15,521 men measured by clinicians (Veale and colleagues, 2015, BJU International).
That study pooled 17 earlier studies, and every man in it was measured by a doctor or nurse, not by himself. That matters, because men round up. Everybody rounds up. The erect numbers come from the smaller group who were measured hard, and it is still the best data anybody has.
About 95 percent of men land somewhere between 3.9 and 6.5 inches erect. By that same curve, roughly 1 man in 10 is over 6 inches. Over 7 is rare, well under 1 in 100. Most men are at or under the 6 inch line.
So if you measured yourself just now (you did, it is fine) and you came in around 5 and a bit, congratulations. You are not small. You are precisely, medically, perfectly average. The little guy is in very good company. Most of the men you know are standing right next to you.
That is not the bad news. That is the warm up.
Does size matter to women?
To some women, including me, yes. The surveys say it matters less than you fear. I say "satisfied" and "coming" are two different words, and the internet only ever asks about the first one.
In 2006, Lever, Frederick and Peplau surveyed 52,031 people for Psychology of Men and Masculinity. 85 percent of women said they were satisfied with their partner's penis size. Only 55 percent of men were satisfied with their own. Nearly half of you, 45 percent, wish you were bigger. Only 14 percent of women said they wished their partner was.
Read that as: women are much kinder about your size than you are. That is true, and it is sweet, and it is the line every article stops on.
I am not going to stop there.
In 2010, Muehlenhard and Shippee published in the Journal of Sex Research that 67 percent of the women in their study who had ever had intercourse had pretended to orgasm at least once. Two out of three. The reasons they gave are the ones you are afraid of. He expected it. She wanted it to be over. She did not want to hurt his feelings. It was a small study of young women, so hold that number loosely.
The next one you do not get to hold loosely. In 2018, Frederick and colleagues looked at more than 52,000 Americans for Archives of Sexual Behavior. 95 percent of straight men said they usually or always orgasm during sex. For straight women it was 65 percent.
| The number | What it says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 85% | of women are "satisfied" with his size | Lever, Frederick and Peplau, 2006 |
| 67% | of women in the study had faked an orgasm at least once | Muehlenhard and Shippee, 2010 |
| 95% vs 65% | straight men vs straight women who usually or always orgasm | Frederick et al., 2018 |
| 18% | of women orgasm from penetration alone | Herbenick et al., 2018 |
So put those side by side. 85 percent of women say they are satisfied with your size. Two out of three have faked it at least once. 95 percent of straight men say they usually or always come. For straight women it is 65 percent.
None of that makes her a liar. It makes "satisfied" a low bar. Satisfied is the polite question. Coming is the real one, and the numbers say a lot of women have been answering the polite one for years.
"Satisfied" is a word women use the way I use it about a Tuesday. It is not a lie. It is just not the word you were hoping for.
Why can't she orgasm from penetration alone?
Because for about 4 out of 5 women, the part that does the work is not where you are. This is the part nobody explained to you, and it is not your fault that nobody did. It was not explained to her either.
Herbenick and her team at Indiana University surveyed more than 1,000 American women, ages 18 to 94, for the Journal of Sex and Marital Therapy. About 18 percent said penetration alone was enough to make them orgasm. Nearly 75 percent said clitoral stimulation was either necessary for them to get there during intercourse, or made it better.
Eighteen percent. Not most. Not half. Fewer than one in five.
Now the anatomy, and this is the piece that rearranged my whole understanding of my own body. In 2005 an Australian surgeon named Helen O'Connell put real women in an MRI machine and mapped the whole clitoris. The part you can see is the tip. Roughly 90 percent of the organ is inside the body, and it wraps around the entrance of the vagina in a wishbone shape. It does not sit at the deep end. It sits at the door.
So when a woman is not coming from you, her body is not broken. I believed mine was for a very long time, and I wrote about it in my book. A lot of women have been quietly carrying that exact guilt since they were teenagers, convinced they were the problem because a man thrusting away was not getting the job done.
She is not the problem. I am going to say the next part as gently as a Size Queen can.
Why I am a Size Queen (my anatomy, not your report card)
Here is what I know about my own body, in my own words. It is the same thing I say on my Size Queen page, and it is the honest version.
Most of my clitoris is inside me, and it wraps around the outside part of my vagina, not down at the deep end. So filling me and reaching me are two completely different feelings, and I want both. Girth is what fills that wrap. Length is what reaches the end. A long skinny one only does half the job. For me 7.5 is the minimum, and thickness is what does it for me, that full stretched feeling. Add a slight upward curve pressing that front edge and I squirt every single time and come over and over. That is my anatomy talking, not a score anybody passed or failed. Yours is built a little differently, so your number is yours.
That last line was written to women. Today I am talking to you, so I will turn it around in a minute.
I did not know what an effortless orgasm from penetration felt like until I finally took a man who was big enough to make it happen. I did not know I could squirt from a cock alone until I took one thick enough, with that curve, to press the right spot. Every experience I have had outside my marriage has been hot. Not every one of them made me come, until I learned what my body actually needed.
My theory, and I am careful to call it mine, is that a lot of women have never felt everything engaged at once. Filled at the entrance and reached at the end in the same stroke. Not "most women." I do not speak for all women. I run a survey because I want real answers from real women instead of guesses, and women write to me saying the same thing. But it is my theory, and I own it.
Now read that quote again from your side of the bed. Girth fills the wrap. My minimum is 7.5. The average is 5.17.
Do the math. I will wait.
Is 5 inches small? Is 6 inches big? My honest scale.
Since you searched it, you want a ranking. Fine. This is my personal scale. My opinion, one woman's honest taste. It is not science and it is not fair. Neither is anything else about this.
Under 5 inches: little guy. I say that with real affection. In my experience the men who know it are the ones who learned to be good at everything else, and I will come back to that.
5 to 6 inches: average, which is the polite word. You are the majority. The little guy has a lot of brothers.
6 to 7 inches: above average, and you know it, and you have probably said so on a first date. Good for you. Genuinely. You are still under my minimum.
7 to 7.5 inches: so close. Girth decides it.
7.5 and up, with real thickness: hi. You already know why you are my favorite. I will come back to you too.
About my husband, since you are wondering. He is bigger than average. He is also the smallest I will ever go again. Both of those sentences are true, and if you are doing the math on what that means for you, yes.
He knows. I remind him. In the Hotwife world there is always someone bigger, and reminding him of that is one of my favorite weapons. The man he is about to watch me with is simply bigger than he is, and I like saying it out loud. He swallows his pride and leans all the way into his service side, and watching him process that mix of inadequacy and intense arousal is one of the hottest things in our marriage. That is Small Penis Humiliation as we actually live it. Playful. Consensual. Ours.
And before the big boys get cocky: there is always someone bigger. Nobody is exempt. Not you either. Back in my camming days I saw a few I do not believe would have fit me. There is a ceiling to everything, and it belongs to somebody else.
So what do you do with a small penis?
You have three doors. I will be honest about all three.
Door one: keep pretending. Keep asking "was that good" and keep accepting "yes" as the answer. She will keep saying it. Two out of three women have done it at least once, and "at least once" has a way of becoming a habit. This door is very popular. It is where a lot of marriages live, and it is the one I would beg you not to pick.
Door two: get very, very good with everything that is not your penis. Hands. Mouth. Patience. Remember the anatomy. The organ is at the door, not down the hall. A man who understands that can get a woman there in ways a man coasting on size never learns to. I mean it. I play with my husband and take care of him almost daily, and he takes care of me, and none of that requires him to be the biggest man in the room. This is the door most sex advice sends you to, and it is a good door. It is not the whole house.
Door three is the one a lot of men are too proud to look at.
If you actually care whether she comes, and not just whether she says she did, then somewhere in you there is a question you have been avoiding. What if the deep, effortless, no hands needed kind of satisfaction is something you cannot give her, and somebody else can?
A lot of men run from that question. A certain kind of man leans toward it. He reads the numbers above and something in him goes quiet, and then goes hot. He does not want to be replaced. He wants to watch her get what he cannot give, and be the man she comes home to. He wants to be reminded of it. He wants her to say it.
That man is a cuckold. Mine did not start out as one. We married in 1999 and I did not cuck him until 2016. He would never have been a cuck in the beginning. He is not weak. He chose to hand me the power because trust is the hottest thing he owns. He gets more of me, not less. He gets to see a side of his wife that only a husband who watches ever gets to see. He does not describe it as losing. Watch him on a night like that and you would not either.
If you felt something reading that, do not feel bad about it. Look forward to it. Then go read what my husband feels when he watches, because that is the part nobody tells you.
Is 7 inches big? A word to the big ones.
Yes. By the curve, over 7 inches is well under 1 in 100. You have been patient. My favorite men are the ones who read all of the above and did not need a single word of it.
If you are the rare one, out at the far right edge of that curve, with the girth to match, I am not being coy. You are my favorite, and not because of a number. Because of what that number does to my body, effortlessly, every time, and because a good Bull knows exactly why he is there and takes real pride in it. It is not one sided. The right Bull gives a wife what she has never had and gives her husband the hottest night of his life at the same time. I have lived that more than once.
Just remember the rule. There is always someone bigger. Stay humble. It looks good on you.
Do not feel bad. Go ask her.
I want to end where I started. Everything you just read is my opinion, my body, my math. I am one woman with a very specific anatomy and no shame about it. Your wife is built a little differently, and her number is hers.
So go ask her. Not "was that good." Ask her the real one. "Do you come from me inside you, or do you need more?" Then be quiet and watch her face before she answers.
If she answers instantly, believe her and go be grateful.
If she hesitates, even for half a second, do not take it as a verdict. Take it as the first honest second the two of you have had about this. Stay in it. Now you know what "at least once" looks like from the inside.
And if that hesitation did something to you, if it made you a little sick to your stomach and a little hard at the same time, you already know which door you are standing in front of. I wrote a whole book about what is on the other side. She is not broken. You are not less. The two of you might just be at the start of something Uncommon.
